Welcome to Selo/Shevel Gallery

WELCOME TO SELO/SHEVELGALLERY.COM!

We are so happy you have found us and invite you to take a look at the treasures we have assembled for you here. Our pledge is to provide you access to the finest hand-crafted American and imported folk art available, to make your shopping experience (whether in person or online) exciting and convenient, and to provide you with the very best in customer service.

For twenty-five years we have represented some of the leading artists in hand blown glass, ceramics, wood and jewelry as well as wearable textiles and mixed media. The gallery is also unusual in that it combines handmade objects from around the world with American crafts. It is our belief that beautiful and interesting pieces can work well together regardless of where they were made.

This web site contains only a fraction of our extensive and ever changing collection. For that reason we hope that you have a chance to visit our gallery in person, where you have a chance to actually touch and feel these wonderful pieces. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy perusing our web site. We would love to talk with you and to help you find exactly what you are looking for so please do not hesitate to call or email us.

News

July is here and Art Fair 2008 is upon us.  Everyone at the gallery has been preparing to offer our customers a selection of some of the top fine arts and crafts of 2008.  We have a fresh collection of ceramics, glass, imports, jewelry, metalwork, mobiles and textiles.  Our 'blue' Liberty Street window, shown here, features ceramics by Michael Donnely and Allan Buitekant, along with glass by Serviente Glass, Donald Carlson and Scott Ferguson. We also just received a shipment of Bryan McGriff Porcelain vases and bowls in soft colors.  Stop by to see exceptional jewelry designs by Ruth Taubman, Michael Sugarman, Barbara Heinrich, Carolyn Morris Bach, Tana Acton, Erica Zap and many more talented jewelry designers.  The Ann Arbor Art Fair takes place July 16th through July 19th, so stop by if you are in town during the fair or anytime to see us.
