Beehive Kitchenware Company began in the pantry of Jim Dowd's and Sandra Bonazoli's house in 1998. Prompted by an old, bright orange enamel colander, Sandra asked "Why is everything useful so plain?" In a quest to answer that question and to buck that trend, Beehive Kitchenware was born. These functional, beautiful objects for the home have been creating a buzz ever since. Start with lustrous heavy-gauge metals. Craft with care using traditional coppersmithing techniques and antique tools rescued from the junk pile. Combine with hand cast parts.
